History of Salisbury High School
The original Salisbury High School was built in 1904 on Ellis St., becoming the second high school in the state. Our current building was constructed in 1926 and named Boyden High School. In 1969, the school merged with Price High School and in 1970 the name once again became Salisbury High School. Salisbury High School has one of the most diverse student populations in Rowan County, and boasts a proud tradition of academic and athletic excellence.
